This new AirDrop is the latest, fast, easy, and efficient way to share pictures, videos and files to another Apple device via Bluetooth all at once!! When you´ve posed for a dozen photos with friends, you can just AirDrop them all the pictures in seconds.
Turning on AirDrop is simple. We will explain you step by step.
1. Swipe down from the upper right corner of the screen to access the Control Center, then select and hold the center of the Connectivity section. Select AirDrop.
2. Choose the desired option:
RECEIVING OFF: Select Receiving Off to turn off AirDrop receiving.
CONTACTS ONLY: Select Contacts Only so only your contacts can see your device.
EVERYONE: Select Everyone to be discoverable by all nearby iOS devices using AirDrop.
It´s as easy as that! Now you can send/share all the files you want in an instance!
Sharing content using AirDrop
1. Check the content to share, select the Share icon.
2. Then choose AirDrop. Choose the Name of a nearby AirDrop user or the iOS device, then click on Done.
If you want to share to “Contact Only” and you cannot locate a nearby user, then you have to check if both of you are signed in to an iCloud account. Or you can also choose setting Airdrop to “Everyone” option. You can also try to switch off personal hotspot on any of the devices. The content being shared can be found in the same app from which it was sent.
Receiving a file through AirDrop
To receive a file, picture, video through AirDrop, you will be asked to Decline or Accept the incoming file. Choose the desired option.
